Hey everyone,
I'm scheduling a Lobby War for Saturday Oct. 23rd @ 3 PM EST.
I'm going to ask around to see if we can actually make it a community war, but if all else fails, we'll have a big cw.cc lobby war and see who's still around and interested in playing. My end goal is to regularly compete in community wars, and on off times, play big lobby wars. Something to keep us active and competitive. We'd need to have around 10 people though (or more hopefully), which shouldn't be a problem, but I'm not sure where everyone's allegiance lies these days.
Post here if you're interested in competing, and spread the word! As long as you have teamspeak and play Renegade, you're welcome!

I won't know if i can till I'm actually there....but If I can I'll play. Never been a big cw.cc fan (due to several reasons that I'd rather not discuss here), but know that i can compete fairly well in medium size aow games anyway. Count me in, and we'll see if i can make it or not.

Alright sounds good.
I understand that cw.cc has a reputation, but people have to understand that the players responsible for that rep are long gone, and even if there were some around, they wouldn't be playing in any game that i'm leading or organizing.
Other communities have nothing to worry about when they play against teams that I'll be leading.
The way I see it, is community and lobby wars are one of the last type of clanwars left, so we might as well play some and enjoy while it lasts.

Between the old cw.cc players and new recruits, I just want to have enough to start competing in community wars. We might have enough cw.cc players alone to do it, but I definitely am open to getting some new players as long as they can be reliable and have teamspeak.

Hey JR lol its been a while. Just a month or so ago I was looking through my music list and there's Flip AKA Jr - Renegade Freestyle, still got a laugh out of it lol.
Anyway, just wanted to put a reminder up about the Lobby war this Sat @ 3 PM Eastern (8 GMT). I'll post more of the details soon including which teamspeak to meet in, and which server/maps. Hope some CW.CCer's can make it!

They're not awful, they've currently been moved o a new dedi which is running pretty damn well if I may so myself. For the record, I'm not Goztow.

Yep, just someone else who has access to their dedicated server...Anyway, I might be able to play but if its on the EU server im not gonna even bother with 300+ ping (and dont count on the others US players either, they'll just timeout too).

I should have all the details today. It seems like we'll be using the official clanwars.cc server, and hypno's TS3 channel, but nothing is finalized yet. I'll post it here and on Jelly and RenForums when I get the OK.

BoSNiaN - I appreciate the fact that you don't like European servers, simply because you experience minimal lag, but how do you think the Europeans feel? Almost ever server that has a steady player count is American, so they're restricted to playing with minimal lag every time they play... Gozy, don't pretend like you get it. Its NOT minimal lag...I get over 250 ping with crazy fast high speed, and even EU players like Nunega reported getting over 200 ping in your servers...Anyway, they get 150-180 MAX ping in my US server, while all US players get 200-250 ping in yours, do the math Got a few people interested, but if I pop in and get over 180-200 ping, **** it

Just to reiterate, again, I'm not Goztow. TK2 has recently moved to a new dedi, and I tested the server out myself earlier on and they're running smoothly.
Also Bosnian, when I play in your server I get 240 ping, every single time and I have a high speed internet connection. So I'd appreciate you representing this community by not throwing a fit because of a little lag...

I just sat in there and was getting as low as 130 ping to a high of 180, but never over 180. As long as there is no SFPS spikes, i'm good with anything below 200. So host: CWserver1 pw=clanwar We will be using Teamspeak 3: ts3.thekoss2.org Please show up at least 15 minutes ahead of time into teamspeak, and use your ingame name, so we can get organzied and start as soon as possible. Thanks everyone who came out, the games went great. Everyone arrived on time, and organizing the teams was very quick.
We started off 10vs10 and got at least 3 or 4 games in, then we continued with 8vs8 and 7vs7 and made it through the entire rotation of 7 or 8 maps.
I was a captain, and Nukem was the other. My team started off strong and took the first 3 or 4, then Nukem's team made a big comeback and won 3 or 4 of their own.
I'd say it was a success and I'll be planning more in the future. We should have enough players to participate in Community wars as well.
